Its a very violent and graphic not to mention complicated movie so I don't think its appropriate for kids.

this is not a movie for children. while there is no graphic nudity(there is some brief nudity but it is non-sexual) the movie has very violent images from the opening sequence till the end.
it is a great movie and will really open your eyes and make you think about the world we live in. i recommend that everyone watch the brief environmental documentary in the special features.

Children of Men is a pretty dark movie and its somewhat deep so I don't know if children will like it let alone understand it.
There's two scenes that come to mind:
-Scene in a barn where the main female character shows her front side. We see her bully and breasts, it last about 5 seconds.
-Birth scene. There's no nudity but its kind of graphic. Quite amazing part but I'm not sure kids should (or would) want to see that.

Nudity is the least of your problems, the violence depicted in that movie is excessive. It is by no means a movie that you can show your kids. Better rent something more in their age group like Lemony Snicket, a series of unfortunate events, or labyrinth by Jim Henson with David Bowie (an oldie but goodie), Charlottes Web, The Family of the Future by Disney, or any other but definitely not Children of Men.

The brief nudity was a pregnant lady. Depending on the degree of one's religious superstition, it could be ok or not ok.
The movie does have a depressing view of the future of civilization and is rather dreary. That said, it is an excellent movie.

If I remember correctly it shows a woman topless (I can't remember if it goes much further than that....I think it might). There also is a fair amount of violence in the movie if that matters.

probably not kids under 13
although it is a very timely movie and showcases pressing issues. it's kind of a warning of where humanity might be headed if we don't get it together.

probably not for kids under, like, 13, not because its too graphic, but because anyone younger might not understand it.
