I've got reeaaly fair skin. I have dark brown hair with it. I think it looks cool but sometimes i feel self-concious when i show skin, because i'm so light....which do you think is more attractive, a thin girl that's tan, or a thin girl that has fair skin?

Both. Fair skin and tanned looks good. If you are planing on a bathing suite I'd go with a tan, but if your mostly covered it don't seem worth the hustle! One warning you should probably choose a tanning lotion instead of tanning salon or natural sun, your body will thank you when your older! No Sun Spots is always a plus!!

If you go to wallgreens you should see the natal glow lotion that should give you a healthy glow and tan your skin a shade at a time with however many applications it says - not sure so read the bottle. I think its by olay and there products are usually worth it.

I should also let you know that as one of Gods creations you are beautiful just the way you are! God made you in his image, and that should uplift your confidence because God dose not do ugly despite what some might think! But do what you feel you must to help you feel better about your self just be sure not to take it over Bord! Don't be pressured into anything self confidence is truly sexy, beauty, and elegant who could want anything more than that? all of that is already inside you girl, so I wouldn't change a thing!!!!

I personally like a natural look on girls or boys..... You should look natural and try not to stress your appearance, tan looks good on some people, and fair skin looks absolutely stunning on some people. Do your thing and feel good doing it!! But honestly I like the look of very fair skin. I can not pull it off, but I tan very easily and hardly burn. Those who tend to burn while tanning wear fair skin best.

Be happy with what you been given. So many of us have something that we think is wrong, its time we all stop being our own worse critics and really love the beauty we all have perceived flaws or not. Once you accept that fact you will have a glow and attract all the good that comes your way.

Fair skin is better, If you ever want to join a modeling agency, they will like you better with it. They'll actually, enhance it with putting color all around you.

to each his own, do what u want!!! i like to be tan, so i visit the tanning bed year-round...otherwise i am very fair, which i don`t like at all...but each person is different!!!
