you mean that buying "carbon offsets" has done nothing more than erase false guilt?

I am shocked!!! NOT!!

You got to hand it to Al though... at least he made a little money on this one.... I'm not sure he made a dime when he invented the Internet.

it's really just saying that companies are basically fleecing consumers in this field too...

IMAGINE THAT? COMPANIES FLEECING CONSUMERS?

it happens in every other business field... of course it was going to happen in this "hot new" field where people don't really understand the specifics all too often...

it's really just another condemnation of big business abusing everyone for every dollar they can... business as usual... just in the "green" market this time...

EDIT: the only company I saw mentioned was DuPont... don't think Gore owns DuPont? everyone's getting involved and has been if they think they can make a buck... Gore doesn't own every company in the world...
