even if u dont have sex, u could easily break ur hymen by bike riding, i dont know many diff reasons. So please tell me how do we have to keep our hymen safe so we dont lose our virginity? is it by luck that some girls remain virgin?

Ok, first off, what is so bad about your hymen breaking? Second off, I guess you don't know what a virgin is, because you have to have sex to loose your virginity. And third of all, what is so bad about losing your virginity?

From my limited experience, you can break it by a firm hit caused by accident.. ie riding a horse, a pushbike, inserting a finger or few, tampon, and so on. These are not usually the full on busted hymen.. just tearing.
However, most probably do not go this way and remain relatively intact until penetration occurs by sexual intercourse and even then it can take a few goes before pop goes the entire wheezle ! Everyone is sort of different and circumstances also differ.
Either way, it really doesn't matter because any man worthy of your chastity will be naive enough not to know the difference and enough of a gentleman not to notice, and too pre-occupied with you to care anyway.
As far as my opinion counts, people remain a virgin until having sexual intercourse with another person. You can't lose your virginity to a psalm in a bible for example, that's just a complete crackpot idea.

Breaking your hymen does not mean losing your virginity! If that was the case, I lost my virginity at 13 to a tampon!
To keep your hymen 100% safe, don't go on bumpy car rides, don't ride a bike, don't wipe when using the bathroom, don't play sports, don't use tampons, don't have sex, don't masterbate, don't go to the gynecologist...in fact, stay in bed all the time and watch TV. You'll be safe then.
You only lose your virginity when a PENIS goes into your VAGINA, not when a bike ride breaks your hymen!

Your hymen will not break that easily. So the excuses women used to make many generations ago, when that kind of subterfuge about how a woman "lost her virginity" was still believable, will no longer work. Honesty is the best solution. Either choose to actually be a virgin, or be honest about your behavior to those who really have a reason to know (not just anyone.)

Don't have sex.....don't ride a boy's bike, be careful on a girl's bike. Hymens are easily broken, but it does not mean you lose your virginity. It only slightly tears the hyman. not fully breaking it. Same thing happened to me on a bike......but on my wedding night, I was a full fledged virgin. Don't worry hon...just take precautions against getting hurt....and you'll be the virgin you want to be.

breaking your hymen has nothing to do with losing your virginity. As long as you do not have sex then you are still a virgin.

You don't lose your virginity by your hymen breaking. The only way to lose virginity is through sexual intercourse.

hunny the only way to loose your virginity is to have sex. it doesnt have anything to do with your hymen. and you cannot prevent you hymen from breaking either.
