What's wrong with you? I don't think anything is wrong.
You can eat Mcdonald's in moderation. Almost everything is bad for you if you over-indulge or if you prepare it in the wrong way.
I don't listen to any of that stuff that tries to tell me that there are "disgusting" ingredients in my food. I don't really care.
If we knew half the facts about the food we put in our mouths then we would probably stop eating all together.
If it tastes good and you know it is bad for you then treat it like a treat. You can have a treat once in awhile.
Just don't go crazy and sue Mcdonald's for getting you fat! :)

I don't think there is something wrong with you. If you are always thinking you are going to gain weight day in and day out? Then over time you will gain weight because you already psyched yourself to gaining weight. It is our attitude towards food that made it bad. We were supposed to eat to live not living to eat. Plus our parents never had the time to teach us how to cook so we let someone do the cooking for us and they don't care what they serve. They are not our care takers. In-activity is the root cause of our health care problem. You may have noticed too many obese kids all over the place. Kids don't play with their neighbors anymore they just sit at home playing video games. Like you, watching movies. Go out there and take a hike and enjoy mother nature. For a change. Have a long healthy life and enjoy your wifes' company for a long time.

It's human nature. People prefer quick and easy food that tastes good.
Even if it takes a few minutes to walk or drive there, it's still quicker and easier than nuking frozen food or whipping up something from scratch.
Plus it tastes good. People want immediate gratification even if it means potential health problems in the future.
Society knows that smoking cigarettes is bad for one's health yet many people still smoke and there are new smokers picking up the habit all the time. I see it as a similar mentality.

For the same reason that smokers continue to light up even when they know they are gonna end up in bad shape in the end, we all have this sense that somehow it won't happen to us. I am attempting reform from the same malady as my last trip to the doctor showed elevated HDL, LDL and cholesterol in my blood. I always thought I was young (35) and could change later. Well, the time of change for me is now I hope and I hope it is for you as well. None of us is immortal, at least not in bodily form on Earth, so there is no sense in hurrying the day of our demise!

Well, you asked, so here goes- #1) Apparently both of you are too busy/uninterested/lazy to prepare a meal.
#2) Evidently neither one of you cares about your weight/cholesterol count/general health.
#3) One or both of you are WAY too easily influenced by what you see on TV. Come on- you KNOW the food you get at McD's (or any fast-food restaurant for that matter), never, ever bears even a passing resemblance to the food shown in the commercials.
Hey- do yourselves a favor- if you HAVE to have fast food at least use moderation. Better yet- make a big, crispy salad.

I still had the odd craving for a Big Mac after watching that show. I don't feel guilty because I do not eat them much so when I do its a little treat.

Clearly, you're addicted to the feel-good drugs they've incorporated into their McPuke burgers.
Are either of you, by any chance, obese?
