Yeah I've hear of them.
In the 80's in fact I was somewhat of a fan of them. The did the theme to that stupid movie Weird Science and I remember seeing some of the television commercials they did for Budwiser. Albums I had were: Dead Mans Party, Nothing to Fear and Only a Lad.

They started out as the Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo, fronted by Danny Elfman, Tim Burton's favorite tunesmith and the person who gave us the Simpsons opening theme.

Yes They are a really cool group. Danny Elfman is the founder and he wrote the Simpsons Theme song. Also they played in the movie as a Guest " Back To School " with Rodney Dangerfield. Danny Elfman is a really talented artist. Batman and Pee-Wee. All three Spiderman themes.

Oingo Boing are awesome! I grew up listening to them. I think Danny Elfman writes better songs than he does soundtracks.
