How about high on your back shoulder, near the socket. That way when you move your arm the butterfly will flap it's wings. Maybe I am just so tired I should go to bed and just tell you that yes a pink butterfly on your arm will be cute. But maybe get it outlined in purple.

If you get it on your arm what if one day you don't like it there and can't conseal it, (ie; like say you go for a job interview and it's summer you want to wear a cut off sleve and your future boss will look at it and think I don't want to hire this person) If I were you I would get in some place where you can cover it up if you choose not to like it any more at least you can conseal it. As for a butterfly I was gonna get one near my groin but decided not to, I thought I don't want to be 70 and the butterfly will look like something etirely different from all that saggy skin. But up to you!!

...Uh no. Basically people put it on the lower back, stomach, and anything in that general area because it's less visible when you decide to dress fancy. Plus, Tatoos are PERMANENT. Which means when you decide to be more career-oriented and more socially conscious, you may regret making that statement.
Try a less permanent option, like henna tatoos which only last about two weeks. They still make a statement...just not a permanent one.
(And they look cool and funky.)

No not really. If you are really going to put a pink butterfly on your body, do it where no one can see it. like the top of your foot. That way you can cover it up for the most part. But show it off when you are wearing sandals or at the beach.

I agree on arms on ladies isn't attractive. And does a butterfly mean anything to you?
Design it yourself, make it original then yeh it'll look alright.

Every one I've talked to, male and female, do not like tattoos on women's arms. I know lots of women who have their tattoo on their arm. Sorry, but that is not new. I advise putting it on a small inconspicuous place where it is your choice whether it shows or not.

I know a chick who got hepatitis at a tatoo parlor and had to go thru chemotherapy. Tatoos are cool.

I honestly don't think so...but if you like it, that's all it matters...don't do it because you think someone think it's cute (chances are...that wont last long)
