We cannot at all travel at any speed grearter than light.
U might have heard of Einstein's famous equation E=mc^2
Now suppose the body increases its speed near to speed of light,as the speed increases, kinetic energy of the body increases, now according to E=mc^2, this increased energy increases the mass of the body, hence as the speed increases, mass increases, and the increase in mass makes it impossible to increase the velocity anymore at a point. Because the more u increase the vel. the more increases the mass.

Apparently scientists are getting things like electrons and even light pulses to move faster than the speed of light.

Theoretically, it is hard to believe: "[...]Schneider uses an example of hitting a target with a gun that shoots bullets faster than the speed of light. "Some observers would see the bullet hit the target before they saw the shooter fire the gun."

But recently only in the last decade (after 2000), I have seen more and more articles about things beating speed of light (Example given below).

But it will probably be a long, long, long, long, long time before it becomes significant in terms of traveling or anything really.

Einstein's theory of relativity is the main concept supporting the fact that nothing can go faster than light (as you would travel in the future). However, you must realize, it is called a THEORY for a reason, it's not officially a fact.

If you look at a plot of Energy vs. Velocity for a massive object (an object that has mass) at relativistic speeds, you will see the energy balloon to infinity as the velocity approaches the speed of light.

This means that accelerating a massive object to the speed of light requires an infinite amount of energy. There is not that much energy in the universe, hence it cannot be done. We have managed to get some very small masses (atomic nuclei, for instance) going at a decent fraction of the speed of light, and electrons flowing in copper wiring typically go at 2/3 the speed of light.

Getting a mass to 10x lightspeed would require first getting to 1x lightspeed, which is already impossible by our current understanding of the universe. Hence we can't get a mass to or beyond lightspeed.

Based on Albert Einsteins's theory, speed of light is the ultimate speed limit of any moving object. Although, this is only an assumption made by Einstein. I would say it is unclear that human being can find evidence of speed limit higher than speed of light, but I would say it is very likely. However, from my personal point of view, we, human being, still don't know what light really is yet, therefore, the conclusion of speed of light being the ultimate speed limit is too early to be drawn.

Can human being travel at 10 or 100 times speed of light? We don't know, maybe, maybe not.

It was theorized by Albert Einstein that if you traveled at the speed of light, you could move ahead in time, but as soon as you slowed down, you would return to your own time.
It is probably impossible to go 10 times faster than light speed, though.
That would violate a law of physics.

No, it is not possible.

Till now, Light is the fastest travelling object, but it is not a carrier.
If it can be converted into a carrier, then the speed will be obviously reduced because of the weight of the carried object.

General Relativity has stood up to every test. Particle accelerates for just one example. So I will still answer your question with a resounding no, especially after reading Webcop33 website.
