SHOCKED. We had made the decision to start *trying* in early August. My period was due end of August and strictly for kicks I took a test two days before the due date. That sucker came out POSITIVE! I started running around the room laughing, crying, and dancing. Then I called my best friend who laughed and cried and danced with me. Hubby wasn't home and unreachable at the time. When he finally came home I casually handed him the stick and he said "What does this mean?" LOL. I think all men say that!
Great question!

Completely unbelievable, after 8 years of TTC #1. I did years of charting, fertility monitors, 3 IUIs, and 3 IVFs before I finally got to see that elusive pink line.
I was 8 days past the embryo transfer (which is 11 days past ovualtion), and it was Christmas Eve morning. Even though it was early and my IVF cycle had been a mess from the begining, I decided to test. I ended up peeing on 3 different tests at the same time so I could be sure. When the first test came up positive, I could hardly believe it, but when all three did, it was so exiciting! I ran to the bedroom and showed my husband and we were nervous and very happy. I am now 21 weeks with a little girl and still nervous and happy!

When my husband and I started trying I stopped getting my periods (Not helpful when trying for baby) I had to regularly take pregnancy tests to check and I started feeling sick and tired and quite a few other things, but didn't want to do a test just in case it was negative. I ended up doing one 2 weeks after our first wedding anniversary and it was positive. I was in shock and ended up crying. I ended up being 8 weeks when I found out.

I didn't believe it...and it was digital. I kept waiting for it to say "not" before the word "pregnant". Then I almost passed out and I tried to remain calm when I called my husband, but he knew something was up immediately because I was shaking and could barely breathe! I then went back and pulled all the other tests I had taken all week out of the trash and noticed that a faint pink line had developed on ALL of them after I threw them in the trash, so I knew it was really real. somehow that made it more real than five minutes before?!

Honestly, I was shocked. We weren't trying, weren't planning, weren't ready, nothing! Now I wouldn't take back anything, we have a gorgeous 20 month old who I would do anything for. We are trying for number 2 now and I cannot wait to see the positive pregnancy test again! :o)

I wasn't surprised. I was 2 days late and am usually like clockwork (I know in what hour I will get my period!) so I KNEW I was pg. I was thrilled but dh was upset since we weren't planning on having a baby so soon. I got pg 1 month after we got married.
I took another one 1 week later and we were both happy about it then.

I couldn't believe it because it was just a few weeks after our wedding. I ran to the drugstore to buy another test.
