Hi there !
I had a break-up 2 years back and have not by-passed it.
I am going through depression phase. I do not find pleasure in anything , where I am " supposed " to be happy. I feel I am just wasting away my life. This has resulted in me going downhill my work etc.
I am not suicidal but I feel life is a burden and in the morning when I open my eyes it is "I do not know how I will pass through the day".
I am scared of confrontation. Even if somebody has wronged me I cannot stand up to that person and let that person know that I have been wronged.
I have also developed the habit of procrastination. I try to avoid work and keep it till the very end and procrastinate . Help me please

With my long experience of depressed persons, I can tell you that it is a condition of the mind. How that can be set right?. Do not harbour depressing thought.Always think of the positive side of life. Every day morning and evening, have 16 deep breaths.Always keep your mind engaged in some field where you are interested in. Listen to religious songs and cultivate the habit of prayer and know how to sleep well. When you go to sleep,if you are not able to sleep, count 150 breaths after you close your eyes and see how fast you sleep

It sounds like you are experiencing depression although you didn't mention how long you have been feeling this way. I would suggest that you seek treatment for your situation. If you have insurance you can check your insurance companies web site for providers or if you do not there is still affordable help for you. Every state has community mental health centers that are either partially or entirely funded by state/local funds that provide services for everyone on a sliding scale (if you make nothing, you pay nothing otherwise the fees are based on your income). You can look in the local phone book under mental health for the CMHCs. If you do choose to find someone on your own, a LMSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, LPE, LMFT, PHD or MD will do. There are two parts to treatment, one being therapy and the other being meds (only a MD or DO can do this). Please don't let this continue for you at any rate, things will get better with treatment.

Believe me, I UNDERSTAND- I'm 5 years into therapy and if I didn't have my "dose" monthly, I don't think I'd still be here today---the bottom line is, well, you know already, you need therapy, - with a psychologist and a psychiatrist plus medication to help you get out of the "rut". You Know you need this--you're writing so that we can confirm this to you without talking to any of your friends and family. And I know, this is sometimes considered a sign of weakness and is embarrassing BUT IT ISN'T. It is only such to those who are to blinded by their ignorance not to get the help they need. Don't fall into that category; God knows after 2 years, you have tried everything humanly possible OTHER than going to see a psych-- but you need to and you need meds---

The upside is the meds are not a lifetime commitment for mental health--- the therapy is you mental health coach and will be there for as long as you need it....some of us (me) look at it as going to "confession" (only catholics or those that seen this process in a movie or on TV would understand this). To me it is exactly the same- I verbally tell my therapist everything that has been bothering me in my life, and who in my life, from the time I left her office until I return and when I leave that office, guess what? I feel relieved, I feel renewed, I feel self worth and can almost say I feel happy....

Please call someone in your area to get into therapy- pick your therapist first- they will refer you to a good doc............

Good luck to you and please, please, do this, 2 years of your life has been WASTED, and for what? Don't waste another minute of your life........

Medication will help. You have a chemical in balance in your brain. The medication will help restore the inbalance and you will feel much better. Try very hard not to procrastinate on your problem. Seek medical help ASP. Been there, done that. It only gets worse.

Life is not easy and has unexpected surprises. You need to surround yourself with good people. Talk to someone that you are close with. It doesn't have to be a relative. Sometimes the best person to talk to is a new friend who will give you new in-sites of your circumstance. Try not to stay inside and mope around. Try something new, join a gym, or even start jogging. Take up a new hobbie or take a class in something that really interest you. Don't think about what you don't have in your life. Just remember to give thanks for all the things you do have in your life. You life will only be wasting away if you think that way. Go on with your life and think positively. If you think bad thoughts, bad things will happen to you. If you think good thoughts, good things will happen to you. There's this saying, "What I think about, I bring about." Good luck.

Depression is hard. I have suffered with it for a good chunk of my life. I really wish I knew what to suggest. Usually I try to continue doing my best in other areas of my life: school, work, etc. It's hard to do while depressed, but if you let them slip, then you can become even more depressed. I have a hard time seeking help from others, but maybe you can talk to someone about your depression/anxiety?

If not, try reading up about it online or at a bookstore.

depressed my left-hand was stuck sunk stupid non product, ive
but then i taught it to write and all other skills i watched it improve everyday then 1 day it never sunk slow anymore but stayed light and fast only 3 months of exercises

choose both routes, rivers but navigate 2 handed the 2 separate hemispheres then unite in common aim and purpose ie useing 2 electric cranes and 2 electric hemisphere unify in 1 action 2 handed eg skill aim 2 guns 1,2 targets???

no offence 1 handed mono Dr teaching 1 handed students whose left-handed move ability is stuck retarded in ability compared to right-hand super-fast

me i taught my left-hand writeing OK not easy but as it gets neater it recruits more and more grey matter to your will and its detail moves become strong and bold

your left-hand needs educated force control
its connected straight to the other hemisphere and its stupid if you don't teach it

if right-handed teach left-hand writeing drawing and sports etc ? then you can be assertive on, with, at both arm* tools to be assertive with over objects or people

and if an actor dr engineer you can do the actor etc 2 hand thing and keep in camera without right-hand stance spoiling shot eg right hand reach passing in front of <<<
or your spirit just to buck it up 2 handed
be + ve on both hands
extra brain electric /new mind-left-eye-move-left-hand elementary software support installed left-handed too
but then there is 2 on 1 body ie ?*?

Life is a long hot pursuit. So being idle only increases depression, anxiety and melancholy. Try to be busy. As it is said that doing something is better than doing at all. Devote yourself to service of needy around yourself. It is also said that your sorrows are only magnified until they are not compared with others sorrows. So try to look around you and come out of your shell and self-imposed social exile. It will certainly help.
