2) Anything by Benny Benassi: the catchy bass lines make the songs worth it.

Off the top of my head, "Clubbed to Death" by Rob Dougan is one that most people really like. Benny Benassi has some excellent catchy stuff. Gabriel and Dresden offer some really nice trance. Tiesto is good as well.
