Happy with my satellite, except that it goes out during rainstorms.

I moved to the mountains 6 months ago and we don't have cable! It's the BEST thing ever, we get about 4 channels and it's all we need without all that mindless dribble, who needs 4000 channels anyways!?

I do. Although I am not a materialistic person what so ever. I have to honestly say that to have to live without cable since having it all of my life I think that I would probably lose my mind. lol

We used to have it but got rid of it, got sick of watching all the same movies over and over again. Although the kids loved it for the cartoons, i use to get sick of watching those too. But when it all boils down I really dont see the neccessity in having to pay to watch extra television channels with most channels just showing repeats and crap every day

gave up cable a few years ago and switched to rabbit ears....
i get all the major networks plus a few weird ones...
i save a bunch of money... still miss CNN but i got over it...

No cable, however I do have satelite(dish network), much better, I think.
