I'm a very deep sleeper, once I put my head down on the pillow, I don't think about anything at all, I keep my mind blank with no thoughts, and no worries, all the stress is gone, and I concentrate on my own breath.
Once you concentrate on your own breath, then that's the cure to insomnia, and exercising too.
I wake up at around 6:00 or 7:00 in the morning and I never get tired when I wake up, but around the afternoon I have to deep sleep again for 15 minutes in order to function all day long.
Having good sleeping techniques improves your memory, you just have to do what works best for you.

I used to be a really deep sleeper but being on call every night has pretty much ruined that for me. I awaken for my cellphone no matter what, kind of sad. I think cellphones are actually a tool of the devil now.

I'm a very deep sleeper. I was just told that there was a huge storm last night here in central Indiana, I slept right through it.

I'm a very light sleeper. If my cat sneezes, I wake up. One ring of the phone, I wake up. I wake up about every half hour. Doctors say you sleep more than you think....but I'm awake because I look at the clock. I'm now on Ambien.
