Uncontrollable MOUTH

Personally, I think words can inflict damage infinitely more than just actions, so I would say having an uncontrollable mouth would be worse. The hand is just one part of the body anyway, while the mouth and tongue have the ability to spew off all the words imaginable.

Taking your question on a different light, the mouth would be hard to clean and is pretty sensitive, so I think that would be worse also. :-)

MOUTH! I have said really nasty things to people and gotten myself into a lot of trouble. What do they say.... word vomit or something?
Well, I can imagine an uncontrollable hand getting into a lot of trouble too!
So I'm speaking personally- but I think it's not just me because it was even written of at length in the Bible (though I can't remember where off the top of my head)

I feel both are bad. Mental abuse by an uncontrollable mouth can cause emotional scars for life and hands can cause great physical abuse. If someone has a problem with either they need to walk away or seek anger management classes.

An uncontrollable mouth.
I have seen lives ruined and relationships fall usunder all because of a mouth gone berserk.

definitely uncontrollable mouth...

there is a saying in my country that goes something like this: "A deep would will heal, but a bad word will never be forgotten."
I believe that physical scars are only temporary, while being hurt by someone's words may scar you FOREVER, and even though you might forgive, you won't forget...
