BCCI does not have a large number of talents to choose from.
Who have made triple century,bowled like Lindwall, and taken wickets like Shane Warne?
Moreover, BCCI is largely a political body with consideration of caste and region which dominates the Indian life. Cricket and Parliament are reflection of that. What more do you expect from such a situation?

BCCI is thinking of money only.they resist slightest form of antagonism.They are telling to select a young team.But they have chosen Dravid as captain and player,who is a veteran.
Sometimes, they say players will be selected by their performance.But when sourav performed better than anybody else in worldcup,they dropped him.He is still a force to reckon with.he has been chosen as a test player.But will he be able to perform in a game of five days?but if he can perform ther then why he was not selected in odis?we have lost the match to bangladesh for bad decision in part of the captain Dravid.he took so many bad decisions.players were seem to be under a spell of fear psychosis.unity was nowhere under him.Ravy always needed a weak yesman as captain .so, he chooses dravid.as per performance sourav should be given captaincy alongwith coach mahinder.

Regionalism and favourtism is nothing new in Indian cricket as it has been going on for a long time, which is the main reason India could not build a strong team till now. I hope atleast the disasterous performance of Indian Team will open the eyes of authorities concerned and they will select the players purely based on merit and performance.

Because BCCI is packed with a bunch of jokers.It is amazing to see this bunch of buffoons at the helm of affairs of this game. Look at how stupid these people look at press conferences.It is hard to understand hqw they manage to be members of these boards.
