What is the "corporate culture" where you are interviewing? What do the current staff look like? All clean-shaven? If so, you should be as well. Are there a noticeable number of neatly-trimmed beards? If so, you MIGHT be OK but shaving won't kill you. If the staff are a mongrel bunch of all types, a neatly trimmed beard shouldn't be an issue at all.

It relies upon on no rely if it incredibly is neat or not. If curiously good do not shave it off except you have grown bored with it. extra considerable than your beard often is the way you prepare for the accounting interview. assume probable accounting interview questions that detect your technical expertise and skill alongside with "Which accounting purposes are your familiar with?" and people who detect the abilities required for success in an accounting place alongside with interest to ingredient and project-fixing.

Take a drive to the hospital, and take a look around... how clean cut is everyone? I'd err on the side of caution if you really want the job... but if you have a neat beard I wouldn't not hire you if you were the right person for the job.

Forget showing "who you are" by having facial hair. It will grow back. You want a job, right? Nobody will fault you for being clean-shaven, but they might be opposed (even subconsciously) by facial hair. Your interviewer could be ex-military, they could be super image conscious, it could be a female whose ex-husband had facial hair, or someone who is really old-fashioned. It isn't saying that they are right, but they already have their job and you are going to them to ask for a job. Clean shaven is safer - get the job, get a feel for what is acceptable and grow it back if it's okay to do so.

I think a beard is ok as long as it is short, and well kept. But if you are going into a place where you notice no beards you might want to shave before you go
