Russel is a 6'5" 250lb version of John Elway. Oak's franchise QB for the next decade and a half. Quick release, cannon arm, and fast feet, looks downfield while under pressure.
Calvin Johnson has the highest bust factor, and he has the highest potential rating, it's super easy for him to come up short. WR's are soooo finicky, anyway.

That depends on your definition of bust. If you define bust as being well below anticipated value, then I would answer JaMarcus Russell. JaMarcus Russell is predicted to be a top 5 draft pick, if not the first overall selection in the draft. Previous number one overall quarterbacks have not done so well. The jury is still out on Alex Smith, but we can look at David Carr, Ryan Leaf, Tim Couch, Vinny Testaverde, Jeff George, and Michael Vick. These guys never lived up to their potential. Yes their are success stories, like Peyton Manning, and Troy Aikman, but they are much less commonplace.
Part of the problem is being drafted high usually means you are going to a bad team.

Russell- Akili Smith or Donovan Mcnabb?
Anderson- Jamaal Reynolds or Julius Peppers?
Houston- Phillip Buchannon or Fabian Washington?
Olsen- Bubba Franks or Jeremy Shockey?
Thomas- Robert Gallery or Greatest of All Time?
Who knows but I'll go with Russell, especially if he goes to the Raiders. Scouts are too in love with his intangibles.

I would have to say JaMarcus Russell, because first of all QB is the hardest position to play and transition in to the NFL. Another reason is ,because he's getting picked high for his physical abilities not as much how good he played in college.Even though physical atrributes are important that is not the only thing that you need to play QB. So I say JaMarcus Russell has the highest chance of bieng a bust since playing QB alone makes his chances high and he wasn't really that good in college.

JaMarcus Russell reminds me of a worse version of Daunte Culpepper. The Raiders will take him, he'll have success for a couple years with Moss, then Moss will leave the Raiders, and Russell will be awful.

Out of those 5? I would have to say Jamarcus Russel, but i feel that Brady Quinn could be a bigger bust. I also feel that Adrian Peterson with his injury problems could be a big bust.

I'll say Russell. His decision making skills aren't the best in the world, and one of the previous folks is right -- he seems like a Culpepper guy -- they may get a couple of good years if he's surrounded by good receivers, but with his size will be injury prone (not to mention he will play for THE RAIDERS!). I see him as average the first couple of years and then tanking after that.

Im going to say Russell...not necessarily because he's not "NFL material", but i think any highly rated QB has the potential to be a bust baring the responsibilities placed on thier shoulders and because the highest rated ones always get stuck on the worst teams and left to fend for themselves (Joey Harrington/David Carr)

all of them I would rather start a high school player than start any of those players!!.....they are all over rated Esp. Joe thomas i've noticed on his film he likes to not continue til the whistle blows he is slow outta his stance and i really dont think he has the strength to keep up with DE's like J.Peppers D.Freeney in the league!!!
