Well, it wakes you up, doesn't it? People do it on t.v. and hear it from friends...where else is she going to get the idea? That idea is almost naturally implanted in a person's brain when they're born. Everybody knows that.

I bet from her grandfather (Your dad)! As my father when mad that we wouldn't get up for school, would do this. Or when fooling around, dad put a rubber boot half full of water up on door, when open the door- SPLASH!!! LOL

I have no clue but I feel for ya. My mom used to do that and it put me in the worse mood. Yeah could be from TV. Mom said my grandmother used to do that. AHHH I hated that always.

lol. Geesh, that is brutal. It is better than saying there is some kind of emergency though. I once had friends wake me out of my slumber with .."OMG, THERE IS AN EARTHQUAKE!" I was up real fast.
