'99 QB class- Cade McCown, Tim Couch, and Akili Smith
Ki-Jana Carter
Lawrence Phillips
Curtis Enis
Anyone with gambling (Art Schlichter), killing girlfriends (Rae Carruth), attempting suicide (Dmitrius Underwood), or substance abuse(Ricky Williams and Todd Marinovich).
But #1 of all time is taking a kicker with the #11 pick overall . . . New Orleans with Russell Erxleben. He wasn't even good.

I am a Raider fan and I think the most embarassing pick for me would have to be when they chose Micheal Huff over Matt Leinert and Jay Cutler. Even though Micheal Huff is going to be very good football player very soon, I would have rather picked Leinart. The Texans picking Mario Williams over reggie Bush, that would be pretty embarassing if I were a Texan fan

As a Lakers fan the Kobe trade with the Hornets come to my mind, but that was a few days after he was drafted then traded so dont know if it counts. I guess a steal would be James Worthy since the Lakers who were just the recent NBA Champs got the overall number 1 pick from Cleveland, so with a great future player like Worthy, it helped solidify the Showtime Lakers as a dynasty.

Cade McNown. I am a life long Bears fan, and even worse, I thought McNown would be a great pick. I actually played on the same team as McNown at UCLA in 1998 (I was a freshman so I had about 5 minutes of playing time the entire season), but I thought he would be great for the Bears.

According to Y! Sports, Jim Druckenmiller of my 49ers. But I think he was just hosed. The guy was to follow in the footsteps of two of the most talent QBs to play the game (Montana and Young).
But I think I'm going to go the other way. They got a talented receiver in Terrell Owens, unfortunately, they also brought one of the biggest premadonnas into the game. The guy routinely blames everyone but himself when his team suffers. The guy has such an attitude problem that it was embarassing to hear him on Mondays.

As a Pats fan it is a toss-up between Chris (can't cover) Canty and Tebucky (we can turn him into a press corner) Jones. Canty was the bigger bust, but Jones came with more hype.
In terms of non-busts I would have to say Christian Peter (DT) from Nebraska whom the Pats cut before the season started when they found out he was a criminal. OOPS didn't research that pick well did we?

The Texans:
DT Travis Johnson 2006. Though he's a starter, he's flashed little ability but does have some potential.
We could've drafted: Jamaal Brown, DERRICK JOHNSON, thomas davis, mike patterson, and many others.
Instead, we got someone who almost was cut by Kubiak last year during training camp but impressed him just enough to stay... especially with our lack of great DT's...
