My friend and I are going on a trip in June to Las Vegas. We have been friends 10 years and she is about to move 14 hours away. We want to have a lot of fun, but really don't know what to do or where to go. We will be on a limited budget so keep that in mind. We would like some ideas on where to go during the day and what goes on at night. Any and all ideas will be great.

FREE things you can do..I went in December and am going again next week...

Paris Casino.....for I think $9 you can ride to the top of the eiffel tower....

Treasure Island has a Sirens show that is free where pirates do battle over scantily clad women and its pretty cool....and FREE!

Right across the street at the Mirage is a volcano that ius cool and goes off every 15 mins spewing lava into the air and spewing bubbles....

If you want to drink for free sit down at a quarter slot and just play slowly and within a few minujtes you will be asked what beverage you want from a coctail waitress (tips the waitress they work on tips but the drinks are FREE)

The fountains at the bellagio have a fountain show to music and it is free....

The Venetian has gondolas that even if you dont go on you can watch and its free......

Ceasars palace has statue show of all things roman....

The Hilton has Quarks Bar from the star trek movies.....characters in costume and some wickedly cool shops and drinks called warp core breaches! I had a blast there..drinks served in a fish bowl! Be sure you wipe off your blue mustache from the romulan ale (blue beer) hehe

Excalibur has a medievil times show called Tournament of Kings and you get dinner served as well it is $60 per person....

take the double decker bus that runs down the strip. An all day pass is only $5 and the monorail is outrageously priced.....

If you gamble get a card so you get comps...

have fun sounds like a blast I cant wait to go back next week!

The above answers are good ones. Just to add, these sites have hundreds of attractions, many of them are free.

My favorites
Fountains of Bellagio
Fremont Street Experience
Masquerade Show in the Sky - Rio

Shopping
Forum Shops at Caesars Palace
Miracle Mile - Planet Hollywood
Grand Canal Shoppes - Venetian
Fashion Show Mall

Very good, but inexpensive shows
Mac King - Harrah's - They pass out 2-4-1 coupons in the booth located in the Carnival court next to Harrah's - If you check with the Harrah's slot club "Total Rewards" they used to give away two free tickets to the show with a first time sign up.

Dirk Arthur - Extreme Magic - Tropicana - The tickets are around $30, but in the free LV magazines in your room or the hotel gift shop they often have either 2-4-1 coupons or discount coupons to this show.

Larry G Jones - The Man of 1002 Voices - Fitzgeralds - $22-$30, IMHO he's just as good as Danny Gans($100)

Best Value buffets
Main Street Station(L-D)
Boulder Station(B-L-D)
Orleans(L-D)
Palace Station(B-L-D)

Great spot to people watch
Mon Ami Gabi - Paris>the outdoor cafe<

For nightclubs
http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com "VEGAS INFO" >nightlife

I hope you have your hotel booked already, but if not, there are some great rates from June 1st up until the 22nd, especially if you stick with Sunday through Thursday nights.

If you don't have a hotel and would like some recommendations. You can either "add details" to your Q or send me an e-mail through YA with >the date you're going and the number of nights you want. The amenities you're most interested in, and your price range.

If you're interested in info on gambling and transportation. I'm also fairly familiar with low limit gambling and inexpensive transportation. >If you want gambling info, please include which table games you're interested in playing and or if you're interested in playing video poker<

See Fremont Street Experience and have a drink at Atomic Liquor > oldest bar in town. Also, the doubledown is just about the worlds coolest bar

Sahara has some good deals and is close to the action. Take the monorail as much as you can, cheaper than taxi. Our stories below:

Marshall - do you think you could shorten your responses to people asking Vegas questions on here. It is quite annoying to see a response that keeps going on and on and on.......
