1) Is life valuable?
Valuable with a little 'v', sure. All life has the cumulative value of those who care. (minus the pain, and few cosign type things tossed in.)
If you mean Valuable, with a capital 'V', then I doubt anyone can be very convincing.
Oh you will get the usual bunch of Christians talking about (expletive deleted), (and members of other religions perhaps as well.) but they are all guessing. If any of that convinces you, then you wanted to be convinced in the first place.
2) At all costs?
Even the religious will have to cave on this issue, when it comes to Marytrs and such, people who 'died for their faith'.
Myself, I would like to think I would choose to die rather then hurt others, or if my life were balanced against the life of my entire family. Hard to know what i would do of course, but I doubt if I chose to live, I would feel worth much more then a pile of doggy doo.
So I'm betting, no, no one can convince you.
But I've been wrong before....

It is much better that one has (or at least pursues) some form of quality in the life they live, and that its "value" is set accordingly to that quality. The only one which can place a value on their life is the person living it. That life being "lived" or even saved at all cost??? Could mean many different things, both positive and negative. All life has value, but trading one for another or one for many isn't always "worth" the real or perceived value placed.

We are all tiny specks of life in a vast universe. We know nothing. We are born, without a choice, often live hectic hard lives, full of suffering. But, through all of this, the amazing thing is, we still laugh, love and try to live descent lives. It is all a mystery. We know nothing, not really.
You sound unhappy...I'm sorry...I hope things get better for you.

i don't get the equivalent scientific care decrease than the regulation factor? What rules are distinctive for a gay guy than for me? The regulation is the comparable for everybody and so is this equivalent rights factor I pay attention for all time. interior the state I stay in, it may be unlawful for 2 quickly adult men or 2 quickly women individuals to marry one yet another to boot. i think you may desire to declare that's equivalent scientific look after all. that's not in all probability equivalent rights that some say they prefer it incredibly is incredibly new rights that at the instant no one regrdless of race, intercourse, shade, creed, faith, or sexual selection has. there's a huge distinction between the two. I additionally dislike the comparrison of this concern to what black individuals went by using not some time past. I even have never observed an illustration on a cafe that announces "quickly basically" or one on a restroom that announces "NO GAYS ALLOWED". in my opinion i might desire to care much less approximately this concern or what human beings do with their inner maximum lives. i might desire to never think of waking up each morning with a huge furry leg rubbing up against me yet to each their very own i think. i comprehend you may never restore all the unfairness we as persons have....and all of us have them however the main's in this united states of america subject-unfastened civil rights and rules are the comparable for all. What you're speaking approximately changing is going plenty greater suitable than faith. i think of our society and way of existence in many situations nonetheless perspectives marriage as a union between a guy and a woman and which would be complicated to alter no rely how many new rights and rules are conceived.

That is an existential question that each person must answer for themselves. My hint would be to test your assumptions about the nature of the question.

Since you're here asking the question, you already feel yours is, otherwise you'd have already left us to see what's next.
And there's the answer: until we can be sure there's something else, this is the ONLY game in town.
