I believe the summertime sun lightens everyone's hair because the sun is more intense. I know one of my friends used to use lemon juice in their hair and would lay out in the sun to brighten their highlights to make her dirty blonde hair, blonder. I am brunette, and even my natural highlights get lighter. I notice in the summer also that my hair does get lighter...so yes to your answer (my opinion anyway)

The sun lightens my hair but I feel the heat dries it.

finding on how long you reside out interior the solar, it is going to grow to be a lighter brown, or artwork that's way into greater blonde. in case you like it to get incredibly blonde, reapply the lemon juice each 30 minutes and lay out as long as conceivable for the subsequent couple days till you're happy. dont forget approximately sunscreen, tho! you may incredibly get wiped out. ={
