I'm having the front driver's side window replaced on my vehicle. It was completely shattered. They want to charge me $180 for the replacement window and to install it.
My question? Is that a fair price to charge? I have a '99 Ford Taurus. Do you think I could get a better deal?
They also come out to your house and do the work.

Yes thats more than fair! as a dealership tech who deals with such replacements the price is more than fair. But if you have doubts, in the future alwase rember to call around and get as many quotes as possable before doing any work. OH & dont alwase go with who the insurance company recomends. Rember it's just a recomendation.

The glass is about $2 hundred plus cleanup (of the former glass) and hard paintings, so that you're searching at about $three hundred finished. i might want to recommend going to a respected vehicle body save for an estimate and service.
