Has mass media lost its mind? I mean like they are abusing their powers to the total limit and beyond. Why do they post information that is common sense that people should know and causing a panic by posting information about petty crimes and terrorist. Whats next, meteors coming to crash into earth? Im not saying that the mass media needs to be remove but their power must have some limit, without violating the first admendment.

I think the mass media is partly (hugely?) responsible for a LOT of what is wrong in our country.

I think that the media is having to compete with other entertainment sources and they are feeling the pressure. They will always have the tendency to push the events farther to the extreme side. Just like in the book Fahrenheit 451, people want more and more action. The media is starting to feel that flow, the problem is though that there are too many people that see what they are doing. Too many people just want to hear the flat out truth. They should see the demand for that in our society, the truth and nothing but the truth, and mold a news program around it. The competition that the station will bring for the other news stations will force the news trend in the opposite direction than they are headed right now. That would be the capitalist way to do it anyway. Karl Marx would disagree with me.

I agree with you, they give all this drama to a whole lot of nothing. They just find ways to make a story and they'll do it even if it causes uneeded panic. What can you do other than just ignore it though? I think if we all just ignored it for even a day, they'd get the picture.

publicise the media
they are colluding to decieve it should in total be run by the intel agencies [sworn to protect the truth]
sworm and aware of the result of treason
not run for money [or political influence or fear mongering or commercial gain but to tell the truth and nothing but the real truth
the facts maam just report the facts

You can complain an tell them you are not going to watch. They won't like that because it affects their advertisers. They will respond to public pressure.
