like 365 1/4 days for earth's length of year. i dun know wat the sun revolves around but it's a question on this wks i have.

Our Sun is one of millions of other suns (stars) that are rotating together in one of the arms of a spiral galaxy we call the 'Milky Way'.

The sun orbits the center of our Milky Way Galaxy, and that can be considered one solar year. Moving at some 250 km/sec, it takes the sun 226-million Earth years to complete one orbit of the galaxy, so that would be the length of its year.

The sun rotates on it's axis and revolves around the galaxy. It takes the poles 32 days to rotate and the equator 28, and it takes the sun about 200 million years (I think) to make one lap around the galaxy. It might be a lot more than that.
