It seems that the GOP can only rule from a constant state of injecting fear into the American people. This statement seems more like a threat from Guiliani than a statement. Afterall, 9/11 happened under an all Republican rule. Maybe Guiliani needs reminding of that. It's obvious that Guiliani can't be trusted if he is going to run the country the same way as Bush and Cheney.

Scott B..... the GOP is all about fear language. My god, just listen to Cheney, Bush or Guiliani. Everything they say is meant to scare Americans into voting for them. Sorry, but fear is not a platform to run your party on.

justgeti…The guy who bombed the towers in the 1990's was caught. Ramsi Yosef and he is in prison right now. BTW, those bombings didn't bring the towers down. And, there were no warnings of it's impending action. However, Bush was given lots of intelligence and warned in advace that OBL had planned on hijacking jets to use as weapons. Why is it that before 9/11 that Condi Rice, Collin Powell and Cheney all said that Saddam had no WMD's and they were sure of it? And, then all that changed the day right after 9/11. Hmmmm.. I think you have your information all skewed and you should do more homework on the matter.

Speedfre…You mean appeasement like when Reagan had Iran hold the American hostages until after the 1980 elections in exchange for weapons and support for the Nicaraguan contras? That kind of appeasement. Or, do you mean the kind of appeasement when Rumsfeld helped Saddam procure WMD's back in the 80's to use against Iran and the Kurds in Iraq? Or, do you mean the kind of appeasement that our CIA under Reagan and Bush Sr. did with OBL in giving him weapons and training even though they knew he was dangerous and an extremist?

trouble_…Global Warming isn't about fear. It is about fact and it is supported by scientists and scientific evidence. It only got politicized in the late 80's because the GOP and some DEMs who are from states with oil and coal interests found corrupted scientists who would criticize it. Even the writer of GWB's speeches came out this week and said he was wrong about Global Warming back in the early part of GWB's 1st term. He says he's changed his mind and realizes Global Warming is real and is caused by humans. You really need to catch up.

Keith Olbermann nailed Guiliani big time on this subject,
last night on Countdown. Guiliani might be toast.
I think you would have loved it.

Giuliani is making a career out of dancing on the graves of the 9-11 victims.

More like the reigns of forgetting history. I wonder if he remembers who was president when the Twin Towers were knocked down.

You said it well.. the Republicans can only rule with fear.. they have nothing positive to say so they revert back to the old.. " scare the hell out of them" theory. Too bad, most of America see right thro that tactic now.

Too bad about Giuliani.. I thought better of him.. but he has given in to the Bush theory, just like McCain did.. now there is no one worth voting for in that party.

Guiliani is an idiot. He does not speak, I hope, for the majority of the Republican party.

Yes, they do work, remember we still have republicans in america. Republicans fear like no other, so Guiliani is simply using this to win the nomination.

What are you talking about fear based? The Democratic Party has been running a fear based campaign for 25 years now. At least there is actually something to fear, unlike global warming. By the way, how is that fear-based campaign going?

Yes, he is showing his true colors. The tactics they have been using since 9/11 no longer work, yet they do not seem to realize it. They underestimate the People of the US, that will be their demise.

I assume that you forgot that the first attack on the WTC
happened under a Democrat? Oops I remember that
Bill Clinton said that those responsible would be hunted
down and punished, hmm, same thing he said after the
USS Cole and other bombings. And just how long was
GWB President, 8 months, planned on Clinton's shift
so the GOP could be blamed, nice Bill real NICE

You know the Democrats don't use a Donkey for their logo
with out good reason

They are all JACK ASSES

Peace through strength. Dems are not strong and resolute leaders or proponents of a strong military. They prefer appeasement to leading and doing the right thing. Rudy knows exactly what he is talking about. Wisdom will teach you the same.

He is absolutely right.
