Tell me. I'm having little faith in movies these days..

I took my kids to see meet the Robinsons last weekend and I was pleasantly surprised. They loved it and there were a few spots I laughed out loud. I would recommend it, even if you don't have kids.

I second '300' because it really was fantastic, and not just for the half-naked men in all their 6 - 12 pack glory (although that really is a HUGE draw). There's a great, simple story - and those are always the best kind - and a clear direction to the film, and if you're a fan of graphic novels, there's no way you *won't* enjoy this.

Otherwise, I saw 'Fracture' just last night, and any fan of Anthony Hopkins, Ryan Gosling, any installment of the Hannibal Lector trilogy, or of lawyers and smart movies in general should definitely make this a must-see on their list. The movie isn't the most action-packed, but it really keeps you on your toes (especially if you're a law student!) and the acting is first-class.

Also, I'd just like to politely disagree - I think movies are actually getting better and better recently. Perhaps not in Hollywood, but I'm seeing some of the best foreign films ever made nowadays. It's actually quite inspiring. :)

Well in theaters it was night at the museum.

We have a dollar theater here so it comes out a couple months after regular theaters. Shortly before it is released on DVD.

anyway. I think you should definitely see this movie.

The characters are amazing. The way that the writers showed Sacajawea, Teddy Roosevelt , and some of the more thrilling villains.

hope this helps.

didn't want to give too much away.

Also the way that they interact with each other is special. It flows smoothly.

good luck. let me know what you thought.

I enjoyed "Grindhouse" despite what the critics said. Planet Terror is nasty, gory horror, but has a great story to it. "Death Car" has some good action, but a little too much dialogue. The fake trailers are wonderful (Thanksgiving is the best of them!). So if you want to catch a 2 for 1, this is your best bet.

The last movie I watched was The Covenant. One name for you. Steven Strait. Hot new up and coming actor. Google him. You will not regret it.

The Reaping. The critics hated it, but I liked it. I don't know what to tell about about why you should see it. It may not appeal to you. It depends on what kind of movies you like I guess.

I really hope the person who said 'The Descent' was joking. That is a horrible movie.

Anyways, Disturbia was awesome. I saw it 4 times. In The Land Of Women was a typical romantic chick flick and it had comedy in it, too.

"Night at the Museum." It was funny and original until whoever wrote it ran amuck with "political correctness." Please, Ghengis Khan's issue was a lack of love? What a load of crap. Don't bother going to see it it was first-class dumb.
