I loved Kelly Clarkson, but Josh Grobin and Il Divo were disappointing. :) I'm guessing there was something there for everyone. I agree with you about it not living up to the hype though. With the amount of people who regularly watch the show, they could have done even more. Remember when things like this were THE biggest event of the year? It should have been the same this way. I hated how they dropped names like Hugh Grant and Gwen Stefani when they were just part of a "Staying Alive" lip syncing montage. How silly! HOWEVER, I loved every second of the footage they showed of people in Africa and the US. It's stuff like this that makes me feel completely helpless and completely inspired to make a difference all at the same time. I hope Idol makes this a yearly event, and that they make it an even bigger deal with even bigger names next year.

nicely i imagine that's sturdy they're replacing them.yet on a similar element that's no longer precisely the judges they favor to regulate.they favor to regulate alot of issues, first they favor to regulate the voting device. the in straightforward words clarification why we're not going to have a guy winner this season is cuz the boys they placed via to precise 10 weren't that sturdy. i actually trust if it wasn't for that lets have yet another guy winner by that's quite frequently teenage females doing the voting. i imagine American Idol has in basic terms run that's direction to be straightforward. that's been operating for 12 seasons.maximum persons have moved in route of the Voice and X element. i do not imagine inevitably star judges must be sturdy judges. i theory Mariah can be a sturdy decide and grants some sturdy advice yet she's too wonderful. i imagine someone like Harry Connick Jr or Jimmy Iovine must be suitable yet it truly is not any longer gonna ensue.

I DO think the show lived up to it's hype. I really enjoyed the entire show. The Elvis, Celine duet was incredible, and I was right about who would be voted off tonight. I said that no-one would leave. I was so glad that we didn't have to say good-bye to any of the performers tonight. It seemed fitting that we won't find out who goes until next week, and then we will lose two at once.

I liked Josh Groban but other than that it was a little slow and boring. During parts of it, I felt like I was going to fall asleep. Overall, I don't think it was wonderful just okay!

i enjoyed the show and you have to remember that in the end it wasn't meant to be a great "wow" music show it was meant to raise money and awareness for people in need, and i think it accomplished that goal for the most part.

The music made me want to slit my wrists truthfully. I know it was supposed to maek you think, but it was depressing as all get out.
But the money they raised and contributed made it worth sitting through...
