Absolutely, a classic case of one good season and great tangibles. Can he digest an NFL playbook? Is he NFL ready? Not as much so as Brady Quinn, but since Quinn can't throw the ball 80 yards in the air he won't be the pick. One of the biggest predicters to how successful a QB will be is college experience. Something he lacks to a great extent, much like Ryan Leaf. Plus he'll prob get picked by the Raiders and thown in, a situation like Tim Couch. I'm making references to other first round busts on purpose. *cough* Akili Smith . . . Oh and he showed up to the combine scrubbed out and overweight. That doesn't seem like he's ready to dedicate his life to this sport, and quinn is faster than him. With that being said I'm not sold on any QB in this draft. Only guy I like is Drew Stanton and that is just as a third round value pick.

Ryan Leaf continues to be the biggest bust in NFL draft historic previous. not basically became into he worse than Russell, yet he additionally had a lot bigger expectancies as a prospect. actual all of us knew that JaMarcus Russell became into an entire lotta length and arm potential, and not a lot else. human beings theory that Leaf had the finished kit to be a brilliant NFL QB.

I dont think he'll be as good as some of the TV and radio guys are saying. No one really knows how good he can be. I heard one NFL "expert" say that he may be this years Vince Young, or he could be the next Akili Smith. There are too many question marks. Thats why he said the raiders should trade the #1 pick to the Bucs for one of their QBs and a bunch of draft picks (this way the bucs could get Calvin Johnson)

Definately he is going to be a bust!!! The Raiders are going to pick him #1 (overall) and immediately going to pencial him in as their number one guy. When he should be on the sideline learning the game since alot more complicated/faster than college level.
Not sure about the biggest bust of all time but will be close to it.

I don't necessarily see him as being a bust, but I just have a feeling in my gut that he's going to let a lot of people down and be somewhere between a below average to average QB. Of course I have no proof to suggest that he will just be average, but no one has proof that he'll be a star either. We won't know until he's had some playing time in the regular season.

YES I AGREE WITH YOU. The raiders need a qb.. they need to get brady quinn, or troy smith. i know he looked terrible in champiionship game, but i think he could be a great player. But they should probably get brady just in case. My dad agrees. Maybe they should get calvin johnson and trade him for a good qb.....

He really has a lot of intangibles that 99% of QBs in the game dont have....lol you may be right though because I remember telling myself that about M. Vick...
