1991 Toyo Pickup 2wd, I can hear a knock from where the clutch is when I engage the clutch really fast, but only when I am going into second. Does anyone know why this is?

Worn tranny, or engine mounts.

Loose mounting bolts to the engine-bell housing.

Loose mounting bolts Bell housing-transmission.

Worn U joints on the drive shaft.

Excess play in the differential.

Wear and tear... simple fix, ease the clutch out in second and drive on. Generally, noise from the "clutch area" indicates that the release bearing is worn. If it isn't slipping, drive on. Or, to get rid of the noise, replace the clutch assembly.
