Halliburton features two "L"s, leftists. If you can't quite handle spelling the name of your own personal bogeyman, how is anyone supposed to take you seriously?

dontthink: I'm not picking on anyone. If I felt as strongly about a subject as these cretins apparently do about Halliburton, I'd learn to spell the damned thing. Of course, I'm not a liberal, so I have more than two functioning brain cells.

Tokoloshi: Are we reading the same boards? When one finds an ill-reasoned, poorly-written question or answer with copious misspellings, the culprit is usually from the left. We conservatives stayed in school while the leftists-in-training were out smoking weed.

Yes. It is WAY too much to ask. It is also too much to ask for me (& evidently you) to take them seriously.

I agree with you here, however, only in principle for the content of this question was intended as an insult. Nevertheless, you do have a valid point, if a person feels so passionately about a subject, then at the very least take the time to read over your work. By doing so, you are given the opportunity to ensure that it represents the point you are attempting to make in a clear and to the point manner.

A simple action as reading over your work not only affords you the opportunity to correct your spelling and check the flow of the statement you are making. It also gives you the opportunity to add that last second thought, to a debate concerning Hlaliburton. In return for taking that one simple action, if the only thing a person can point out concerning your remarks is a misspelled word, need I say more?

Halibertun.
Heliburton.
Holiburton.
Hallibortun.
You can call a bunch of thieves anything you like, they still stay a bunch of thieves.
BTW, you 'rightists' should not start on the topic of spelling, please.
Not while you have to have your nightly English lesson from Bill O'Reilly.
