Well, when you ask how man was "made", you're starting out asking about something that the various Creation stories around the world try to answer. That's not really the province of science, though.
The general idea in biology, based on what information we have available, is that humans are derived from more primitive hominids that in turn were derived from even more primitive hominids. At each step "further back", the ancestor species appears less "man-like" and more "ape-like". Go back far enough and there are no hominids at all, but there are simple mammals. Go back even farther, and there are no mammals, but there are reptiles that have some mammal-like characteristics. Go back even farther, and there aren't any reptiles; just fish and various other aquatic life forms. The farthest back we have any firm evidence of life on Earth, there are just very, very simple organisms that produced parts hard enough to leave traces in the mud that turned into rock. There are various ideas about how life originally began, but mostly just speculation at this point. Nobody has ever "created life" in an experiment. Maybe some day it will be possible, just as someday it became possible for men to fly in the sky and travel to the bottom of the sea. Who knows?'

In the evolution theory, man evolved from a single cell organism up to who we are today.

Have you been paying attention in class? Man wasn't literally "made." He evolved from apes. DNA similarities serve as evidence.
