Best for what? Video gaming? A student taking notes? A programmer writing applications? E-mailing? Photo editing? There are a lot of ways to be good at something, but you need to be more specific.

To me there is no such this as the best computer in the market, that is depending on the processor and memory and hard drive, the only difference to me is the software in it, and the build quality. People who determine a very good Computer is the technical support, warranty, and sometimes the reviews, and even the other minor features.. To me HP would be the best, Gaming would be alienware, Budget would be Dell, Sony if you like doing things like take pictures..

I just bought an ASUS laptop a while back. It's my prefered brand. Best place to search and learn about stuff in on newegg.com. To research them try notebookreview.com
