I must admit, as the self-proclaimed Grammar Queen, I find it perturbing that others cannot string a few simple words together and form a coherent sentence. I am not sure about decades ago, but I had fabulous English teachers within the past 10 years. Then again, I paid an enormous amount of attention in class. I believe parents need to stop saying that their kids have "learning problems" and give them drugs to solve a simple problem of LAZINESS! DO YOUR DAMN HOMEWORK! I am done, thanks. ~N

Back in the day, we did not have any fancy-schmancy spell-checker thingies to fall back on. We had to know how to spell and we LIKED IT!! You either listened in class or you didn't. I listened. I use the spell-check feature, but mostly so it can tell me there were no errors.
