I think it is clear that Melinda is the best vocalist. But, I don't think that alone is what determines the winner. Performance ability, correct song choices, connection with the song and the audience, looks, personality and charisma and a good voice all factor into the outcome. Jordin has a very good voice and rates higher on the other factors than Melinda. She is more marketable for the current music scene. I believe Melinda will do well even if she doesn't win, as I think there is a market niche she will fill. It just isn't all that "current." IMO, Blake is not original, even though he sounds current, he sounds like a lot other alternative-type male singers out there today. I think it's about time for Idol to have a teenage winner and Jordin is the best of the teenagers who have appeared on the show. (Maybe that's not entirely fair--DeGarmo was a teen and showed a lot of versatility and spunk on that stage, but perhaps lacked the maturity and elegance of Jordin.) We have witnessed Jordin grow as a performer on Idol. Not so with Blake. So I think it will be a showdown between Melinda and Jordin with Jordin taking it.

Jordan Sparks. I would buy her cd's and I rarely listen to something other than country. I think her voice is great, and because she is so young, that it will continue to grow. I also think she is the most marketable.
I think that melinda is a great singer, and that she will be a good recording artist, however; I don't think that as far as concerts and stuff she will not do as well.
So, I think Jordin Sparks will win American Idol
Also, do people actually watch the show, Ryan said that they were listed in no particular order, which means that we don't know who is in the bottom two, I think it was outrageous what they did to Jordan, but know the whole groups, has to wonder if what they do next week will help them or hurt them.

I would prefer Melinda Doolittle to win because she has attitude plus a great voice. Jordin is too bubbly for my taste.

Melinda because she looks as if she really will make actual hits after the show but Jordin is too young she should have waited but she is good but not better that Melinda Doolittle!!! That name aounds like a star plus she is so humble...

I really want Jordin to win. Melinda is a talented performer, however, I don't think her mature style and lack of personality will sell albums. Jordin is total package for selling albums. She's nice, pretty, and has a personality! Even when the finalists don't win, they can go on to be successful. I wish them the best!!!!

Melinda should win because she is a better singer & performer. I think Jordin is also very good but she isn't as good as Melinda is.
