I'll be doing a home waxing kit thingy and was wondering should you shower THEN wax or wax THEN shower or does it not matter...

Wax first. It will grip the hair better.
If you shower first, your skin will plump up a bit & make it harder for the wax to grab the hair at the base near the root.

Typically the area needs to be clean but a shower might make the skin too soft. Use some astringent before you do it if its on your face (oils can make the wax mess up) and take a shower after. If it's not for your face, probably take a quick shower first (it's easier to clean the areas that way, lol) then do it.

Personally I would wax then shower, I would definatly want to make sure all the wax was off of me.

You should wax then shower. You need the hair dry for it to stick to the wax, then you will have built up wax that you will want to wash off afterwards.

I always wax then shower...that's what works best for me. I find showering and then waxing makes my skin too soft or something.

It does not really matter, but what helps would be to lotion the area first, so it won't have such a big effect. And if this is a first time, no worries..... waxing just feels like ripping off a simple band-aid. Hope this helps!!!

for mine i use its shower to open up yuour pores then wax. it hurts less
