Plant and animal cells are alike in a number of ways:

1. They are both eukaryotic cells with a definite nucleus and membrane-bound organelles like mitochondria and endoplasmic reticulum.
2. They both use respiration to get energy from their food.
3. They have a plasma membrane to keep the contents of the cell together and to regulate what moves into and out of a cell.

The two cells are alike in all ways it's just that plant cells have a cell wall and

They both have cell membranes and all the other organelles like nuclei, endoplasmic reticulum, mitochondria, etc., etc.
But there are many differences, too.
