You need to replace your IAC ( Idle Air Control ) this will fix your problem.

Sounds like you have a ect going bad .
Engine coo-lent temp sensor.
Pcm takes reading from sensor.
It sensor is bad and reading -20 when it +10 it will add more fuel then it needs.
Or you idle air controller sticking in the morning.

The most common problem is a loose, or disconnected vacuum line on the engines intake manifold.

Listen for a high pitched sucking sound when the engine is idling around the intake.

the air temperature sensor is bad, this gives a signal to the computer to make the fuel mixture richer when it senses the air is cold. This is the modern day choke.

jaxer is right.the idle air control,controls the fast idle in the morning,until the engine warms up.you need to change that.i had to buy 1 for my car and it cost $50.00 for it.i hope i dont have to buy another 1,at that price.

check your throtle cable
make sure it is clean
i had that problem with my 2002 gmc sierra denali
and it fixed right up
