I've seen a lot of signs that say Yard Sales. Would that be the same as a garage sale? Yeah, most of it is junk. But every now and then you might actually find some cool stuff. For example, I know a guy who has an antique store and he tells me that some of the stuff he has there he found in yard sales.

Lol, that must have been one bad garage sale you have been to !
All of the signs may say "garage sale" but they never sell the garage, they sell some of the contents.
Where I live, more signs advertise "yard sale" over garage sale, at least 4 to one signs.
I was told that when a house advertises "garage sale" ,they mean tools, metallic things, garden hoses, planks of wood and othe building material, tires, all things that are normally stored in garages.
Therefore, the one little letter "B" does change the description of some of the stuff as garbage.
So, I think you should check out the yard sales instead.

Yes, I do. Especially during July and August.
I do bother stopping, because could be that garage and its contents are just what I've been looking for. I fully believe in the adage "one man's junk is another's treasure", and my garage looks kinda like a dying camel so I could stand to get a new one of those too!

I agree with everything that u just said... I feel that way all the time... the first few traits that u mentioned describe me perfectly... I am known as the shy quiet one that is always worrying about everything... I always seem to have something on my mind... I don't know why... I always ask my younger sister who happens to be an extroverted Libra, if she thinks that I am too boring... She says no, but sometimes I think otherwise... She's always on the go... always out... My other two sisters are too... Another older Libra and a younger Capricorn... My Capricorn sister is kind of the same way as me but she is more talkative and more extroverted than me...

Yeah, and what's up with the yards sales? They are always brown patchy little things with dandelions, and a bunch of tables full of junk. How am I supposed to get the grass if the tables are in the way??????

I'm used to calling them "tag sales", but when I moved to Missouri nobody knew what I meant by that. They were either "garage sales" or "yard sales".

The garage thing is a rip-off, but some of that junk is good.

One of my favorites is "For Sale By Owner."
Like the dude's stuff would be sold by the neighbors?

Yeah, same with a yard sale, I wouldn't buy it unless they cleaned it up first!
