Class of '84 I have seen and it's a crap film with camp value. It's funny more than anything. Look for Michael J Fox in one of his earliest roles.

...a sequel in-name-only to the post-grindhouse exploitation film, "Class of 1984", director Mark Lester's follow-up, "Class of 1999" (1990), unfortunately, has yet to see released on DVD, here in the US (although Amazon has a region 0, NTSC copy (yes, it can be played in the US), imported from Korea.

After seeing director Robert Rodriguez' sci-fi/horror flick, "The Faculty" (1998), it was crystal clear that Robert was influenced by "1999", when making his film (albeit with aliens, rather than cyborgs).

"Class of 1999" was campy good fun, and starred some of the more prominant exploitation stars of the '70's and '80's, such as Stacy Keach and Pam Grier; I look forward to when it finally gets released fornmally released on DVD.

Stay Away!!!...I repeat...Stay away from the in-name-only sequel to "1999", entitled "Class of 1999 II: The Substitute" (1993); the plot: a psychotic military-trained (human) gym teacher, who thinks he is the last remaining cyborg from the previous film, starts knocking off students, teachers and faculty bureaucrats alike!!! Stupid!!! Stupid!!! Stupid!!! (also available on DVD, via a Korean import...this one has FORTUNATELY not seen DVD release here in the states).

...hope this helps you out!!!
