Of course it's not real! Yahoo doesn't run any lotteries! If they did, it would be all over the home page!

This is a scam to try to get money out of you for "fees" or "taxes", plain and simple. Only a rube of the worst order would be suckered in by this SCAM. Unfortunately, there are plenty of those rubes about...

It's not wise to ever give out personal info on the net unless you're at a well respected website and even then I'd be extra cautious.

I an not sure,probably like the rest of us. Before you do anything, contact yahoo anyway you can, and ask them. otherwise, this could be a fishing scam( a scam where they steal your identity and information)

Did they ask you to send them any money...for any reason? If not, I don't know what the "scam" would be unless it is just to joke with people. It does say to keep this from public but for what reason?
