I bought two guinea pigs 2 days ago, ever since then they haven't been exercising much. They are still afraid of me, and would run away if I tries to hold them. So is it okay for them to skip several days of floor time until we get along?

Okay, I put both of them in the kitchen with water and hays and toys, but both of them still wouldn't exercise. It has been 45 minutes. I tried to stay away from the area, but didn't work.

Guinea pigs are naturally timid animals. They're only survival instinct is to run and hide. Yes, you'll find the occassional guinea pig that's not all that timid, but they are the exception, not the rule. They'll get used to you over time, but don't wait around.

Give them floor time. That exercise is important for them. Waiting until they're less scared of you, or their cage, accomplishes nothing. Giving them a chance to get used to the area they can run around in won't hurt anything.

Ok after the three days go to the bathroom and clean the tub. Then put all there toys in the tub and sit down in the tub with them.
