G'day my Queen. The country and people themselves are great, the government leaves a lot to be desired.

Ahh, Cinnamon, your question is so timely, and yet, it proves the very opposite of what you ask. We have freedoms in the US no other country has.
Now, for my answer: I am hurt by our creation of wars, by the difficulty of releasing prisoners who have been proven innocent of the crimes that sent them to prison, by the death penalty that tells everyone in the world that we are the most barbaric country on the planet, wanting revenge, when taking revenge only worsens the problems, not solving any problem at all. I am also deeply ashamed of our citizens who have committed serial killings -all but one of who operated in this country exclusively.

Lots of things (to numerous to mention all of them) but I also like lots of things that outweigh the dislikes. Over all, it's still the best country to live in. I don't see anyone on make shift boats struggling to get out. Do you?

Our government. I personally think government should have very little to do with our personal lives. Don't tell me how to raise my kids, what to do with my body, don't push your drugs on me but tell me not to take others, don't tell me who I can marry, don't tell me what to do with my life or anyone elses. We should all have the freedom to live our lives the way we want. And we should respect the fact that others might choose to live differently than us. Whew, got off on a thing there...I apologize lol.

Lack of healthcare for all citizens. We already pay enough in taxes to have it, but a lot of it is wasted.
