i am 36 weeks pregnant and i have already lost my mucus plug! i am 1cm dialated and cervix is at 70% (i dont know what that means exactly) but i have had to pee like a billion times in the last 2 days and on top of that i am having a white stringy mucus show up on my toilet paper when i wipe! what is this? what does it mean? is it normal? is it a possible sign of labor? please help! if you have a lot of info please email me at glitterhalo87@aol.com...thank you for any advice

You need to call your dr today to let them know what is going on because it sounds like you might just be in labor. If you can't get a hold of your dr then please go to the hospital where you are set to deliver your baby and they will get a hold of the dr and check you out to see how far along you are.
The 70% has to do with how open the cervix is (what they call dilated) to allow the baby to come thru. The cervix needs to be 10 cm dilated (which means that this thing is pushed all the way back) to allow the baby's head to come thru.
The stringy mucus was your mucus plug. You need to call your dr to let them know what is going on.
