I am getting married this summer and I want to have a very modern LOVE song (2000--present) as I walk down the aisle. What are some good songs? Please, no country unless it's very modern! I already have a couple Rascal Flatts songs I like for country. Thanks a bunch! I feel the need to say that I am getting married in the church, so even though we are not strict, I don't want anything crazy, overly sexual, vulgar, violent, etc. Our grandmothers will be there!

I want newer songs to lessen the chances that someone heard it at a wedding before. I dont want my wedding cliche!!!

Thanks for the answers, but remember that the song I want is for me to walk down the aisle to!

I walked down the aisle to Jim Brickman's Angel Eyes, and then had Love of My Life, also by Jim Brickman performed.

There is a gorgeous song by Jason Reeves calle Entwined. It's my favorite right now. Plus he's Indie, and fairly new, so it's definitely not overplayed. You can listen to it here. Someone made a Dawson's Creek montage to it. Sorry:) It's the only video I could find.

Oh, Yay! I found the lyrics too!

Entwined
all that we are is defined
by eachothers shipwrecked hearts
and i shiver to think
what would have been if i wouldnt have seen you in time..
would we pass by??

like parachutes and air balloons
or satellites and lonely moons
we'd still be drifting far apart
but thank the stars we are
entwined..

all that you are is mine
your divine imperfections color the dark
and i shiver to see
how fragile you are when the world's such a cruel place to be..
then you cut me free...

CHORUS

let's walk the tightrope together
without a safety net..
and when we fall
and we will fall
let's fall forever..
entwined

Try something by the Goo Goo Dolls, like, Greatest Fan of Your Life, or Iris.
Both of them are romantic and modern.

"All My Life" or "Forever My Lady" by Jodeci
"On Bended Knee" by Boys II Men or maybe an upbeat song like "Let's Get Married" by Jagged Edge

Good luck!
