seems like they love to control everything. what do they want though? do they really want to control or do they want a man to stand up to them? they don't seem happy with either and when I stand up to my wife she usually throws a temper tantrum and threatens this and that. sometimes she follows through. so what do you controlling women want?

Maybe she is not controlling, but stubborn. I am stubborn not controlling. She could be the same. If you are in the right about something then do stand up for yourself. The way she may come across seems aggressive and controlling. But this is not what it is meant to be. In truth all it means is that I will not let myself be pushed around, taken advantage of. Because if it is what I'm thinking I bet, when she is not angry or bothered by something going on in her life. She can be a very nice person. Your her husband you must know.

Usually these women have low self esteem, and they may not be able to truly control their own destiny so they try and control everyone else. I've seen some men that are married to these women and when you look at them they look like they've lost their manhood.
You both need to talk but not when she is throwing those tantrums, no some place away from the home maybe a dinner or a vacation.

I am a woman married to a controlling man,I understand what you are saying from the other side so to speak, because the same thing happens to me,except my husband makes no threats.I believe part of it is that they are type A personalities, take charge type of people and part of it is that somewhere in their inner self they feel very insignificant about themselves if they can not control their lives and those around them.In my case I let my husband go so far and then I explode
when you are married as long as we have you learn to know which battles to fight and which to cede, when to keep your mouth shut and when to speak up. If he wasn't such a good man otherwise,I would have left him ages ago.In your case she seems to be not only controlling but vindictive too, maybe you two should go to family counseling.

Some women complain that their man doesn't help out around the house or with the kids...or that they feel neglected...you're not spending enough quality / intimate time with your lady*
Women don't want to Control things..they just want a lil help without having to get into some nasty argument all the time. You know what needs to be done...what things she nags at you about...(taking the garbage out, putting clothes away instead of on the floor, once in a while doing the dishes for her so she can relax for a change) You will make things run alot smoother/calmer in your household.
Also talk to her...find out exactly what it is she wants from you* I'm sure the things ive mentioned will be told. GoodLuck and Best Wishes*

They probably want to control the situation hun. Especially if they don't think you're fit for the job of making decisions.

Have you tried talking to you wife and asking her what she wants from you? She might tell you. People are not direct and that is one of the biggest reasons relationships fail.

Makes me love my boyfriend more and more each day.

Most women don't want to be able to run over their husband. If I threw a temper tantrum, I would end up over my husband's knee for a good spanking.

Well if they love to control everything I suggest you dump them if you can and as quickly as possible or separate from them if ou have been married. They really want to control because deep down inside they realize how ugly they are, and by keeping in control it makes them feel pretty. Controlling women really want to spend our money on whatever they want and not work for anything because they are so weak on the inside.

from a woman's prospective and being controlling myself.
We want control ! bottom line. we want to be independent and we want it done our way or no way at all.
I am a very difficult person to deal with - I will be the first to admit this.
It depends on how well you deal with her being controlling.
I like my man and the kids to help out,I like to be reminded how much I'm loved, but I also like my man to be a little domineering - when I get that way on occasion he will stand up to me and win,and I'm clam after that.
if you cant get her to listen to reason - ask her if she likes the idea of being single ?
I am single, and I am that way because of the control issue.
No one wants to deal with my bullshit.
try some counseling - does she work - tell her to go get a job

2 be heard loud and clear.
Alot of woman are considered controlling
but are just misunderstood.
She maybe confused she may not even
no what she wants at times (horomones)
Be gentle and let things ride alittle unless
she disrespect your manhood.
Be a man in any situation if you feel you are
right stick 2 it and don't back down, woman
hate weak men rather they admit it or not.
Try 2 be nice and respect her and demand she
respect you are u will give her threats and follow
thru with them.
Give her something 2 think about!
Good luck

I'm a LEO and i want everything my way. But i'd rather my husband stand up and argue with me than say okay. These days his wins to much. Are you witty. Can you debate with humor.
