A while back I asked what names everyone liked that I had picked out. I went with Falcon Alexander. I call him my "baby birdy". =D. He's totally adorable (definitely not and ugly baby XD). Anyway, what is everyones thoughts on the name?

Taco is right. Now you can never name a sibling David or Sarah. Look on americanbaby.com and find the link for baby names. You can find meanings, origins and even the social stigmas following names. I have six children, all of which were named w/ their future selves in mind.

Falcon is the most hideous name I've ever heard. Well not the most hideous but pretty close to it. Alexander is a nice name, that's my sons name, but Falcon sounds like he should be on an Indian Reservation beating on his tom-tom.

well my high school mascot was a falcon so im not to fond of it...

IM KIDDING. (really was my mascot though) i do like it though its diffrent and ive always liked creative diffrent names. it will get you noticed and have them stand out in a crowd. and the nickname is toooo cute.

congrats on your baby and im glad hes adorable rather than ugly.

((this is going to sound silly. and im not sure if youve had children before but once he starts getting older and cuter youll look at pictures from when he was younger and compare him to what he is now [say 9 months] and youll be thinking. wow maybe he wasnt so cute. haha thats how it was with my brother and niece. they got cuter and cuter as they grew old and made their baby pictures less cute [still cute, just not what i thought]))

My thoughts are it's an unusual name, yet a strong unusual name; I like it. Falcon Alexander.

Falcon Alexander... well I definitely like it although your son is definitely going to be teased in elementary school unless you habitually call him Alex as a sort of nick name.

There seems to be a element/profession naming vogue occurring. in the previous few months i've got met infants called Stone, Hunter, Rock, and now Falcon. i think of such names are lacking. What became into the 1st element you observed while your toddler became into born? call him that! we are going to quickly be getting names like Curtain, Linoleum, and Sheet.

Don't care for Falcon but at least he has Alexander to fall back on if he so chooses.

I don't usually like "unusual" names, but I think Falcon is a nice one. It has a nice sound to it.
