will young male platies breed with a adult female platy and since the males are so young will this affect my female platy on how many babies she will have/will it be less (my males this will prbly be there first mating)

Your male platys will breed with any available female starting when they are as young as about 2 months of age. Matings involving younger males will produce the same number of fry as matings with older males.

As females get older, they give birth to fewer fry. The males may be young, but they know what to do!
