2 months, they are not doing too much yet.. they react to pleasure with smiles or to mommys face, and grasp your finger. Babies still sleep quite a bit at 2 months. My girl is 7 months old... She started studing her hands at 3 and babbling a lot, grabbing for her toes at 4 months, sitting up on her own at 5 and reaching for objects, cut her first tooth at 6 months and rolls over between 5-6 months, gets on all fours at 7 months and is trying to say momom...gotta love her

They eat, sleep, and watch the world in wonderment. Sometimes they eat and want to play at night(ick) and othertimes, they sleep right through the night. They coo, cry, reach up with little arms that can't quite coordinate yet, and then, they sleep some more. Good luck with your book

They can smile and laugh and make cooing noises and when you put them on their tummy they can hold their head up for a little while. They usually can't roll over at this stage, although some babies can. They mostly just poo and wee and eat and look cute.
