Either go to see your doctor, or call a local mental health clinic. They'll keep your info confidential, and often have a sliding fee scale. If you truly do have clinical depression you shouldn't let it go, it will generally only get worse.

No it's not normal to be depressed for 2 years, but also understand that normal is different for each of us. Also understand that depression is only in the mind and chemicals drive that depression and that you personally can control your depression to small degree. 1 - Don't take things personally. 2 - Take care of business in a timely fashion, don't be lax. 3 - Be honest & true to yourself and others. 4 - Take a look at yourself daily and tell yourself that today is a great day and good things will happen today.
The power of the mind is stronger than you think. What you can't control see a doctor that's what they are there for. God bless and good luck...

Depression can start as early as 6 months of age. Yes clinical depression may very well bewhat you are experiencing. Seek the health of a qualified mental health worker. As a therapist i can assure you that safe and effective medications such as cymbalta exist. Talk to family and friends.Tell them of your concerns and you will find support. Dont allow this to go on and affect you adversley, you have everything to be happy with being yourself. donalore_43
